I agree about making and freezing large batches of some items. Some are better the next day any way. What I am looking for are things that are better new made and fresh. Things like fresh bread or a small batch of cookies. I am sure there are...

I agree on Remoil. It was being used at Montana Rifle Co. when I started working there. We found the same problem, dries out, and doesn't prevent rust. I converted the company to Ed's Red, problems went away.

Considering most of them you get from the bank are pretty pristine, I would sure pass on it. A panhandler lives near me, and goes to town every day to ply his trade. One day I gave him a ride to town for him to go to "work". He had the nerve to...

For your big stuff. The Hollywood Sr steel press - look for $200-500- very much depending on who wants it - collectors will pay more. Shoot some oil on it so it moves easily and add another $100! The Belding and Mull powder measure - if it is...

I would suggest that you study a lot more before making blanket statements. Any powder can be over loaded, under loaded and misused.

My 22 Hornet would not stabilize the 55 RCBS with low speeds. Book loads of Red Dot caused tumbling at 25 yards. Push it faster with H110 and it does well.

No argument at all with ball size, but please recognize that T/C bbl. dimensions varied more than we realize and that's probably true of other manufacturers as well. E.g., I too owned a .45cal. Cherokee and got spectacular accuracy with a .440" RB...

From the looks of your cylinder you have an original - and probably an early one. These should only be loaded with black because of the metal used and the thinness of the cylinder walls. The Colt New Model Army and later can stand stronger loads.
