Mine from Donnie has been stored since 2014 in a non-climate control garage (32˚F - 110˚F) and still works fine using the original recipe. Takes a lot of shaking with a couple of lead balls in the bottle to mix the base.

Mine is mounted on a couple of boards attached to my bench, so when I attached the sizer to the heater, I can put a screw top ziplock plastic container underneath the sizer so boolits just drop into the container

No problem here in the Delta. There's a local farmer's tire shop near me, and they mostly do farm tires. So when I get a 6 gallon bucket it is mostly lead COWW's. His place does very little business in the way of modern sedans with weird COWW's....

I have found that after the melter has gotten the alloy to the right temperature, to put the Lee mold on top of the melter upside down with the sprue plate barely sticking down into the melt. Then a wait a bit, and start casting. Got the idea from...

Castloader has started an excellent thread that may become a sticky. Recharging of primers is not for everyone. But if things deteriorate, it may be a viable option for those who had not stocked up on primers. It is wise to have options if...

had two lymans. Lost them in a fire. Bought two rcbs pots to replace them because of lymans typical poor customer service. There both good pots with the rcbs maybe being a tad bit better but i wouldnt give lyman another dime of my money.

My only regret....I should have done this years ago. I will always use “real” guns when it matters, but I can shoot for less than $10/500 and kick the ass of most folks shooting .22LR’s at ranges to 50 yards with my PCP rifles. These...

I have mostly been casting for 32S&W Long, 38 Special, and 44 Special. I am not much for high velocity either. So I did the pure lead and tin mix at first, and then got a 6 gallon bucket of wheel weights. I may add a few inches of tin out of a roll...
