    10 yards is fine for pocket pistols. For full size handguns 25 yards should be the minimum with 50 yards preferred.

    I scoped my 357 Herrett Contender in 1976. I have a bunch of scoped handguns. Scoped handguns have their place but on a carry gun not so much. Comparing a scope to the current very compact red/green dots very much apples and oranges.

    Grizzly has a version of it Mine is by the original maker in cleavland ohio. I dont remember what it cost but it is very handy. I may make aluminum jaws for it but like the lead as they can be recast over and over.
