This would be an interesting build. To do it more effectively; one would need an arrangement similar to BT Snipers Swaging die sets to remove the boolits from the two stack die. (Size on downstroke of handle and eject on upstroke of handle). ...

Call MGM and ask them why. I never had a problem talking to them on the phone. You’re going to get a better answer from them than someone’s guess on here. Not being snide, but they’re available to talk when you call.

UPS stores won’t take them, but UPS shipping centers will. They aren’t like modern firearms, you can just ship them without an FFL.

Shot the 147 Grain .308 Bullets made using 22 WMR brass for jackets today at the 200 Yard Line. Larger group than I wanted (about 4 inches tall by 2 and 3/4 Wide); but that's still in the 2 MOA range and it appears some vertical stringing. ...

Nose on your cast boolits is too large after powder coating (possibly before?). With my Remington 700 ADL Varmint Bolt-Action .308 I have to Size the Nose of my cast and Powder Coated boolits to get them to chamber. 1. Order a "CUSTOM" Lee...

NSB replied to a thread Dead CCI pistol primers in Cast Boolits
I’ve got primers here from the sixties and they all go bang when used. It’s your gun as suggested above or they aren’t seated correctly. I’ve never gotten a batch of “bad” primers, but I believe anything’s possible….in this care rare though.

Resurrecting this thread. Cleaning up the Reloading Shed early this morning and I came across a hundred or so .308's I had stored from swaging 147 grain bullets using 22WMR brass as jackets. Wanted to go to the range today so I decided to load up...

I have one I can sell you. The rubber disc isn’t very flexible anymore but the unit comes in the original plastic case and it opens and closes as it once did. I haven’t used it since my silhouette days. Send a PM for more info.

Your suggestions/ideas are dangerous. You need too understand why in-lines can’t take the pressure safely. If you look at a cross section of a barrel and breech plug interface, you’ll see that the cuts for the threads are the weak point on the whole...

I’m not sure what you’re saying in the last sentence. “How many subs can produce smokeless powder pressures even when used in charges recommended by the manufacturer”. I owned a Savage ML2 for many years and did a lot of load developement with that...

I’m sorry to hear of his passing. Met him at Perry when he did his 1911 gunsmithing classes. Highlight was when he let me shoot the Dragon Gun on the practice range. I still have the Tee shirt that had his pic on it for the class. He will be...

BH209 is basically a smokeless powder producing low pressure. Contrary to popular belief, Trail Boss can produce high pressures. DO NOT use Trail Boss in a muzzle loader…it’s definitely not safe.
