We done it when I was a Kid on the Farm. We kept a blasting powder in the machine shed for blowing stumps cleaning the fence lines and splitting Maple and cotton wood logs when they dried out for fire wood. We used wedges driven in a natural drying...

Being forced to purchase a pound or two is a killer due to Hazmat. Normally I never order less than 32 pounds at a time.

At the home owner, retail level, you'll probably only see 95/5. The end of the spool will tell ya what's in it besides 95% Tin. The other goodies mostly help make it handle temperature extremes better than pure Tin.

Yup, I just placed an order last night and that's what I did. I did need it in 2 days so I paid extra for that. Shipping in general over the last couple of years has gotten really slow except for Amazon and they use their own trucks or they...

The A1 model had a few tinkery little changes made at the govt. request, but nothing major like overall size. The changes were small enough you could probably convert a pre-1924 1911 to the A1 model with a file and a few parts while sitting at...

Depends on the person I received them from. Most people think nothing of hopping into a vehicle with someone else driving yet they don't trust this same person's reloads. Odds are far greater that they will hurt or kill you in their vehicle verse...

In the center station, the pressure on the case/sizing die stays even/vertical and it won't bind up, or try to tilt and go off to one side. The other functions in the process don't put enough pressure or stress on the press to bind it enough...

After reloading activities were banned from the kitchen oven, I lay them out in the sun on a towel for a day or so. I'm never in a big rush, so in the winter I might leave them laying out on the loading bench in the shop for a week or more...

Just watched the Lunar eclispe from the deck. I got lucky and also spotted one very good meteor trail and one that I am guessing was a comet. It had the longest length and longest lasting trail I have seen.

I mostly work on NRA Service and Match AR's. For Service rifle a #4.5 trigger is required. That is one of the reasons two stage are so popular. When you preload the first stage to about 3 pounds the break only requires 1 1/2 pounds. For my Match...
