Personally I would want something made of stainless steel and metallurgy/springs that are not 100 plus years old with readily available parts.

For 400 grit emery cloth I might use WD40. Motor oil would be too viscus, too thick. Don't forget to finish off with crocus cloth, also with WD40. When in doubt: experiment! Dutch So what if you never use most of the pin gauges? You can...

The concept of having to display my hunting license on my back if offensive to me. Seems like that's an east coast thing. Glad to hear PA got rid of that requirement. Next step is to allow semi-auto for hunting. The price of Amish machine guns...

Did you let them know in PA that semi-autos aren't a legal firearm? If they were in the process of deer hunting with a non-allowed firearm did you call the game warden?

That law also allows archery hunts to carry will hunting. Same for the times the hunting firearm needs to be cased and or unloaded. Nice to have that option. I don't understand why anyone would have an issue with allowing more options.

Winchester 1890 made in 1917, chambered in 22WRF. It was bought by my Great Grandfather and was my Grandfathers first rifle. I had the metal reblued and I redid the wood. Iím sure I ruined the monetary value of it, but is now preserved for next four...

I had two uncles in Pearl Harbor on Dec 7th, 1941. They both made it. One was on the Utah and he swam to shore in his underware before the oil fires got bad. The other was on the Arizonia until the Friday or the Friday the week before when his...

Picked up an Ithaca Model 37 two days ago. 20 gauge with a Polychoke. Wood was dry and it was DIRTY. Figured out how to take it apart and cleaned it up. Oiled the wood 3 times and man, it turned out pretty. Had to clean the cut lines in the Corn Cob...
