There is a rectangular lug on the barrel that has matching holes in the stock's fore end. A rectangular wedge, that fits snuggly through both is the main mechanical means for holding the barrel in place as opposed to pins on a long rifle. These...

RCBS Universal Hand Primer. Liked it so much I bought a second one, so I didn't have to make the minor change needed from small to large primers. Another plus is you can set a whole tray of primers (any of the major brands) in the feeding tray and...

When I bought mine, I was told to make sure it had the "RED" regulator. It is supposed to be the higher BTU. You can always lower the flame to regulate the temp.

I agree that if you are worried about the temp of the lead add an ingot or two to cool down the pot a bit. You may also need to give the mold a few minutes to cool down.

First the obvious. Did you try inserting form the opposite side or inserting upside down? These may have been tried already but get rid of the obvious stuff first. If these don't work, you may try putting a slight bend in the wedge or checking the...

A lot of broken three piece cleaning rods. :veryconfu Seriously, I have a heavy Dewey rod, a .22 cal. one piece rod and a couple of brass "T" rods for long guns (mostly front stuffers). For heavy leading I use 100% copper scouring pads along...

Seems like it would be a waste of time and material. If you save your spent primers, you should have a good supply. I could see a die to size it and flatten the firing pin indent out. I have about 10 lbs. of spent primers that I am waiting to...

If you are not powder coating already, you should start with the tumble lube and see how the bullets shoot. If you already have the equipment to powder coat (mainly a heating source) make up a batch of both and see how they compare.

The NATIONAL MUZZLE LOADING RIFLE ASSOCIATION has a very nice series on putting together a Kibler rifle kit. Also, Jim Kibler posted a series on putting together one of his older kits. These are both on YouTube.

Sounds like you could use old flannel shirts and still not have a tight ball. Do you have any lead you could slug the barrel with?

I have a Miroku Kentucky style pistol. It seems to be a nice pistol although I went to the range one day and when I went to fire the first shot the cock just flapped back and forth. I took the lock of and found the mainspring had broken where the...

+1 on this kit. By far the thing I use most. Your tool probably came with a few cut off wheels that have to be secured with a screw. This kit makes it SOOOOO much easier to use. I also find these very handy.

This would be my recommendation, Crosman P1377BR American Classic Multi Pump .177-Caliber Pneumatic Pellet Air Pistol $60.00 on Amazon. You can pump it anywhere from 2 to 10 times per shot. Only real maintenance it needs is a drop of oil on the...

About two years ago I order a refrigerator. It took almost 13 months to get it. I order from a small local independent dealer who gave us a loaner till it came in. The big box stores could not get them either.

I agree you will have a lot of "non-lead" that you pull out of the pot, but a lot of that will be brass or copper and is worth good money. More than enough to pay for propane.
