Ruger Ec9s is my carry gun. It is a bit heavy for a small pocket gun but it works every time flawlessly with my hand loads and factory equally well. The little sucker is accurate too.

HP-38 with the 165 gr and CFE with the 180's. That 155 gr might give you feeding problems but you never know. The sharp driving band on that boolit doesn't lend itself to some feed ramps.

Sad to hear that but you're right. Stacy Abrams is a true socialist. Make me thankful to have our Govenor, Kay Ivey. She had a campaign ad with her 'lil Smith& Wesson 38 in her purse and she just signed the Constitutional Carry Law here.

If you have vision that is, shall we say, "compromised" by birthdays, there is a solution for testing handloads at 50 yds. Simply use a larger target. That is the range that starts to give problems with handgun sights-for me at least. I print my own...

That's a good looking NOE boolit and Swede does a great job making them. Here is a nearly same boolit from Accurate Molds and it drops exactly 160 grs with 20-1. It shoots great fron my 38 S&W model 14 and my 357's as well. The Lyman 358477 SWC...

Taz, have you bought a rifle yet? I have been reading about the Rossi 22's in LR and WMR and the reports I read were pretty darn good. They have even survived the Biden era(so far) with a pretty low price. If anybody has one of the semi auto...

So the better "bite" of the rifling is the reason for .735 balls, right. How hard so you cast them? I would think they would perform pretty well cast soft, maybe BHN 9-11? .728 swallowing a .735 ball is going to give quite a bit of engagement of the...

725, I found the post from 2016 and sure enough, there's a lot to digest, many thanks. Your post where you stated that the round ball might strip the rifling due to small engagement points is well taken and is a question that has been in the back of...

I like the green too. The red S&W factory sight disappears in a LOT of lighting scenarios for me. Painting a front sight might work for some but the light pipe in the Hi Viz sights collect a lot of ambient light.

Those factory loads were advertised at 1500+ fps and for once, I believe the factory was not fuging on the numbers. I still have a box of Super Vel 240 gr in my ammo collection and THAT'S where they are going to stay.

How much does the bayonet affect the point of impact on that lever gun? It gives my 223 CZ 527 a fit. Not terrible but it goes from about a .875 grouper to 2". I don't shoot long strings anymore, 3 shots of the same load will do for my modest...
