    I use the Lee open style for pouring mini-muffin ingots ... I never had much luck with the open dipper and boolit moulds , complete fill out was always problematic . But for actual casting of boolits with a boolit mould I use the Lyman type...

    Honestly ... whenever I have the time to do it and when Mother Nature cooperates . I cast and size in an unheated and uncooled out building in South Louisiana .... when it's so hot and so humid that you can't breath ... I stay inside the house ....

    Also ... just be aware , when beeswax reaches about 400 - 425 degrees it will flash and catch on fire ... be aware this will happen and not a bad idea to have a lid for the pot and a fire extinguisher in case things get out of hand . Don't spray...

    I honestly believe that crimping and rotating 90 degrees gives a more consistent and evenly applied crimp . I do it when I seat a boolit and when I crimp them ... regardless of what type crimp die I use and I always seat and crimp in two separate...
