The Amish east of me make a bunch of traps but I enjoy looking like a crazy man waving my .45 around. If someone can see me they are over a quarter mile on my land so they can't say anything.

Do you have any access to tools to make sizing dies? Then you could tumble lube or pan lube. It slower but works.

Why hard cast with light loads? See what your mold is dropping for size, you can make it slightly large enough f needed or maybe PC the boolits.

Needing to tap the hinge to drop out bullets is not uncommon if you need to hit the bullet that mold might need lapping or other little tweaks. As for the zinc, save it. Add to it because it might be all we have to load with in a few years. They...

So a friend of mine has had one of these in the console of his truck for years. He brought by to see if I could find him a buyer for it. I said I'll buy it it would look good beside my 1911. He looked at my 1911 sitting on the side table by my chair...

They got the water fixed last night, for now. The natural gas line is a couple miles away and they don't have any plans on running it out here. I don't have a dug well. It's a shallow well pump that pulls out of a small lake.

I've built a ton of engines over the years. The main reason few people do it these days is that a properly maintained engine will go 300,000-500,000 miles these days. At that point the car is worn out. While I've been out of the machine shop for...

My little brother has been making them for years out of wood blocks. Drill a hole, cut in half and slot for a rim if needed. I think I have a .300 blackout and a .38 S&W around here somewhere.

Let it dry before loading. I've had stuff loaded for years with alox. Now some lubes can melt where stored at high temps.
