I've got a twenty five pound keg of black powder, plenty of cannon fuse, and prolly a hundred small CO2 empty cartridges. I'd have to have some fun. Matter of fact I'm getting ready to make a stump about the size that you mention. Now look...

I'm with charlie on this. Water pretty much boils/vaporizes at a little over 200. Get the brass up to temp, let them cool and load away. jd

I absolutely don't trust anything except for the oven to dry my cases. I go 200 degrees for an hour, and know they're dry. jd

I'm sitting here right now watching a pretty sizable YouTube vid of Crosby doing a full interview called Lyrically Speaking I think. (seven year ago) He's one on one with the interviewer (Zollo), doing a little guitar and singing, mostly talking...

I don't reckon that anyone here is qualified to pass final judgment on David Crosby or anyone else. Many of us lived a lot of different lifestyles for these last sixty years or so, and some of us were lucky to live to tell of it. Only thing I know...

Most chambers are often considerably longer than listed maximum case length. I like to find out, and then trim about .005" under that. I keep my chamber stats in my die box. The only problem with my method is that my reloads might be too long for...

I've been hooked on these german wirehairs for thirty or forty years now. It would be odd for them not to find any wounded deer, bear, boar, bunny, squirrel, bird, coyote, cat, bat, mouse, bug, lizard, fish, frog, -- and that's likely even without...

So last night I popped into Sportsman's Warehouse, and HOLY SMOKES!! They were stocking bullets, powder, and primers. They only had one pound of Varget for 85 bucks, and the rest of the powder was around $35. Primers $5.50/hundred with 200 limit....

One thing I don't like about mold/nipple contact, is that the sprue puddle is small, and tends to stick to the sprue cutter instead of dropping clear. More often than not I end up using the no/contact method and trying for a steady stream to...

I gotcha. Figured it was like that. I don't use a turret or progressive, so my charging is done in a separate step. I'm not adverse to putting a scoop of powder through it though. I'm setting up my grandson with a simple outfit to do 38's with,...
