My main point was that they had represented it as C&R. Unless regulations have changed drastically, the 696 does not qualify.

I was scanning thru some Gunbroker listing when I ran across this one: https://www.gunbroker.com/item/959247713 Listed this gun as shippable to a C&R holder. Starting bids at $3200. I might have to get mine out of the safe. Mine doesn't...

I prefer PayPal but after reading that it will start reporting all sales to IRS which will consider that as income(I may have jumped to a conclusion), I may have to just go to accepting personal checks and accept the consequences. I would like to...

The latest issue of Handloader came today. The first thing I noticed was that each feature article was printed on continuous pages without the "turn to xyz" for the rest of the article. I've always wondered why all magazines forced you to go...

The neatest wrenches for lube sizer dies are here: https://www.artfulbullet.com/index.php?threads/die-retention-nut-drivers-for-sale.3302/ Not cheap but for Lyman dies will avoid cross threading. Also available for RCBS

This thread called to mind something that was attributed to a local doctor, now long deceased. He told a nurse, a repatriated northerner: "Yankees were like hemoroids: A pain in the *** and wouldn't stay up there where they belonged". I don't...

I voted "Sometimes" and it applies to both progressive and single stage. I spritz a few cases and then size 3-4 of these and follow with about 10-15 w/o lube. I can't swear that it accomplishes anything except to lessen the effort required. There...

This is exactly what I did for my 5 conversions. Each has a powder measure and I cut the legs long enough to cover completely. Took the easy(cheap) way to identify with blue painters tape.

I voted sometimes. When loading several large caliber cartridges, single stage or on the turret, I'll lube about every 5th-10th case. As others have said, it makes it easier to pull the handle and can't hurt the die. I'll do somewhat the same...

I discovered that several years ago. It is what made me question the email. I have no idea about them now.

I just received an email invoice from Norton Life Lock for a little over $300. I have consistantly avoided any dealings with Norton over the years, going back to when they were too invasive and hard to cancel. When I Google Norton Life Lock, I...
