231, Clays, 700X, 4227, Unique, Titegroup, and CFE Pistol do most of my work with the calibers mentioned. Right now most are rarer than hens teeth so I buy what I can find. We don't see a lot of Alliant powders up here hence their absence. Take...

7 yards is a good defensive training range if you have a safe background. Try adding movement and vary the distances by several yards. The biggest plus is remembering that the average time spent watching a Youtube video is 3 1/2 minutes no matter...

I think it was PPU, though they have also had Winchester make lots of 307, 356 Brass under their name as well.

Most biathlon rifles are straight pull. They are fast and accurate.

I have an older BLR in 308. It shoots the Lee 113 fp well so yours should do OK with the MP mold.

You might consider having the check removed. I think that would be a much more effective mold. I have sold a few of Ray Thompsons designs because of that reason.

You don't is the short answer, or at least I never bothered to do so with the 41LC. Seating them with a crimp was an issue. Despite what the "technician" said a Lee's (he claimed Lee had never made nor could they a crimping die for the 41LC) I...

The old bulge problem really died with the mid term Gen3, 4 and 5's. I use 40's in an M&P, Tanfoglio and now a GP-100 and have not run into the six o;clock Glock bulge in the last 10 years. I gues nobody up here shoots Gen 1 and 2 Glock 40 cal...

Finding such a cylinder becomes the issue then. My 'smith scours his usual US sources and got lucky with this one. I may also just powder coat my bullets and run with them. The gun has a new fitted .357 barrel made form a rifled blank. The gun...

Like t6he old 41LC cylinder they are bored straight through. I have no history of where or what, if anything has been done to the throats. I think the idea of using a heel based bullet is it would allow for a larger diameter bullet than othrwise...

I was shooting with a friend who had a contender. When I removed a round he had loaded I heard a rattle. There was a decapping pin in the cartridge. . If I had not seen it I would not have believed it. His reply to my "What The" was "so that's where...

A charging cord could only harm your phone if it is hooked to a USB port on a computer. That was Apples rational when they went away from USB ends and to a type C? end on their charging cord. Of course if you use it they get to sell you a charger...

There is an idea I never thought of. I even have an insert I used for loading 31LC heeled bullets that would work for 38spl. Thanks for the suggestion. I am also going to PC some bullets to see how that works out. Take Care Bob O

After my old 41 Long Colt New Navy 1892 encountered a cracked forcing cone I had my gunsmith rebuild the gun into a 38spl using a .357 new barrel and a cylinder from a 38 Long Colt. The gun is now functioning better than it ever did in it's former...

Just 15 miles E of the divide we are getting ash from a fire 50-75 air miles distant. Not a great summer. My hope is that it drives the squatters back home but who knows.

I find it's surplus twin WC820 likes to be pushed hard with heavy bullets. Do not go lighter than 240 gr in 44 mag. Accuracy should improve with velocity but the powder is not for casual plinking.

It is listed there. I ordered one. Use the L 40 6 version shown for the S&W L frame. It will do the GP-100 10 MM as well I am told. I wanted it to load 40 cartridges for my GP-100 10MM. I plan on using the revolver in IDPA SSR Division. Take...

What a difference regions make. I have never dealt with shallow well as we can freeze in any calendar month. Light residential pump is 1 horse, much more likely to see 1 1/4 horse.

I just bought a BMT for my 10MM GP-100. A buddy of mine showed me his and I ordered mine that day. What an amazing piece of kit. The kit is pricey bit worth it. I should add Ranch Products is now making a .040 thick moon clip for the GP-100 to...

If he ever wants a handgun I would go with the 44 Mag. It is very easy to download, factory ammo is a lot easier to find than 44-40 and bullets, sizing dies and molds are easier to find in 0.429-0.433" than 0.427".
