I voted 8 because that’s what my Kimber 45 holds BUT I carry a Bond arms derringer in 410 loaded with Hornady critical defense (a 41 FTX with three shotgun balls behind it) which would give me time to get to my “real” gun…. Art

I've loaded bismuth for the 10-12-16-20 and 28 . And have been pondering loading some for the 8 in possible anticipation of going to the UK and waterfowling with the 8 legally . While I'm an aficianado of all the gauges at the moment im kinda eaten...

I wouldn't rule out slugs . I've cast the Lyman style sabot slugs in sizes for 10 down to 28 gauge and shot them thru full choke SxS barrels . You will however find out one side tends to shoot closer to POA . So far i've killed a number of deer with...

Hoppes #9 and 000 steel wool will clean it up very nicely and not hurt anything provided you don’t bear down to hard when scrubbing . I usually put a fair amount of Hoppes directly on the wool and scrub and regularly wiping with cloth or paper towel...

It’s actually quite simple I’ve been looking hard for this stuff ever since the Obamite was your so called president (I never accepted him as mine). The $49.99@bag was no great secret , that was at Shyda’s and if bought online it costs $2 or $3 more...

Nice looking rifle Marlinman93! I love my Marlins, Rolling Blocks, 1886’s etc they are pretty. The butt-ugliness of the Tippman and the weight also has kept me from trying one, they just don’t “feel” right. In spite of weight, my Sharps and Miroku...

For the last two years I’ve been buying up or begging SP-20 and the WIN AA20-F1 wads specifically for ounce loads at tower shoots . I’ve also been buying up older shells in 12-16-20 for the same thing . Anyway I’ve not gotten around to the ounce...

I’ve bought Lyman #2 and Rotometals 30-1 (for BPCR) for close to twenty years and have never been dissatisfied with any of their products. I collected lead (not zinc..) wheel weights for close to 20 years before that and still have some 5 gallon...

Here here Bill. I’ve used 4198 for years for 45-70 and I *think* (I’d have to consult my notebooks, been a while for 444) .444 Marlin. 4198 with cast bullets, mostly 400grain cast and it has always been extremely accurate for me. That being said...

Any trap shoots I did years ago were typically 200 at 16 , 100 at handicap and 50 pair of doubles . I’ve been to some marathon shoots where they’d throw 500 16’s or handicap or 250 pair of doubles .

I’m NO FAN of recoil reducers . Or barrel weights on an O/U . I no longer have the K-32 but I shoot a heck of a lot of 8-10-12-16 and 20 gauge in SxS events all different guns . And sure they all feel a bit different but none batter me .

I had a K-32 set up to shoot both trap and skeet . It amazed me how much more 12 gauge in the skeet barrels thumped me vs 12 gauge in the unsingle barrel or the 32” O/U trap doubles barrels . Obviously the stock was the same for both but the same...

I’ve no practical experience at International and know it’s more difficult than American skeet , however my 12 gauge average took a noticeable improvement when I quit the Remington 11/87 in the 12 gauge event and shot the Krieghoff with 20 tubes in...
