Double check that 840F with another thermometer but I suspect the mold is too cold, gently crank up the hotplate. I run a RCBS Pro Melt 2 at 680-690F with WW alloy and most of my MP Hollowpoints. You can check the mold temp with an IR thermometer...

Korean I think. I had other processing issues and tossed them. I started buying 1,000 lots of Starline 7 years ago but still run across boxes of mixed headstamps. No PPU but lots of Magtech, a little short but good brass.

Every time I haul the welder out to weld a gate or something I wish I'd gotten the 2 pound roll of wire instead of 10. LOL (a Honda 3000EU powers it) There is some awful flux core wire from you know where, watch out. I got a roll that was...

Trade. Doesn't download well, too slow for your needs. OR you might need a new gun. It might be a sign!

Hobart Handler 140. Runs on 120V and will do 1/4" and more with preheat. Owned by Miller now, uses the same tips. Reliable! The new Lincolns have a computer to help you weld, no thanks! I have a Lincoln Tombstone for hardface and stick.

Now you're talking! Or get the S&W 500 with the 4" barrel. Chop and recrown the barrel to get rid of the compensator. 500g JSP over 49g of Lil' Gun.

Wrong Gun! If you want wrist snapping you need a shorter barrel and a Smith won't take Ruger loads for long. 20g of 2400 with a good fitting 260g boolit will do 1350fps from a 6" S&W 629 with about 1,050 ftlbs of energy. My regular load.

Aluminum expands faster than steel and I think the pins get lose at the upper end of casting temperature and for me, tapping the hinge pin provided the energy to move them. I only have one aluminum MP mold, a #503 and it's rare that all the boolits...

Interesting, the outside convolutions look like the Cypress we have around here but the wood is much lighter. If they would hold up at a 2 inch cut they could be table tops. Ventana Inn used to have bed and occasional tables made from solid rounds...

The sizer was supposed to be larger but it was still a couple thousandths smaller than I wanted so I lapped it with diamond. RCBS was probably correct with their original size but I wanted to reduce the sizing to where the expander just belled the...

Except they are tailored to accommodate Lead Bullets which tend to be larger than jacketed. I like the RCBS Cowboy Carbide sizer and expander but use a Hornady seater.

I ran 2 pots worth of 359-125 HPs yesterday, it was in the 70s here. That was all my left arm was good for with the 4 cavity brass mold but they were 25lb pots. I'm going to have to start exercising in the off season now.

Cast 2 pots of 359-125 HPs, large pin while I contemplated serious cleaning and reorganizing the shop. (Don't put off until tomorrow what you can put off until the day after that.)

Our 2 local Fedex drivers are awesome but the rest of the company is hit and miss. UPS got a lot worse with the amazon contract. I wonder how many of the problems start with amazon jerking the shippers around to get the best price?

The wood on top in pic 2 is Oak that I milled at the same time. I used a piece of Oak with live edges for the shelf in the closet. I milled all the wood just over an inch thick. The Cedar dried fairly flat and I got 3/4" boards after planing off the...

They can be set one handed while you're using the other to align the work. I use the welding ones too.

For a Storage Unit No need for a lock and chain. Put your powder and primers in plain boxes, then put them in the non working refrigerator along with an anchovy or a couple ounces of a really funky cheese.
