Contact Lee Shaver. He’s a great gunsmith, shooter, and he worked with Pedersoli in designing that gun. He is or was Pedersoli’s N. American warranty service gunsmith. I had two of those Pedersoli High Walls from Cabela’s and returned both of them...

I have, and have had several .357max barrels/guns. No advantage over what you have and in my experience they don’t shoot the mag length shells nearly as well as the longer max shells. Most have very long leads and that effects the bullet entering...

My Great, Great Grandfather was there and got his trigger finger shot off and his rifle shot into two pieces on day two. He got out on a Surgeons Certificate a month later.

I have a Brownell’s .125 sight that has a slightly wider base made to be filed down to give a tight fit. Also, the blade is higher than you want as it’s also designed to be filed down to get you POI matched to your load. It’s made by Brockman’s...

+1 on everything deverna said. He’s put a lot of time and analysis into what he speaks about. I will also ad that “great accuracy” is an individual thing. I don’t think 2” groups measured at 20 yards is very good at all. A good air gun, shooting a...

I’ve shot many, many pounds of 296 over the years. I don’t even crimp much in my single shot rifles with it and it ALWAYS goes off. I use only LP magnum primers with it. I say you have a primer problem.

Dacron is not a “shock absorber”. It’s a .5g “plucked” piece of fluff that only acts as a nearly weightless web of fibers separating the powder from the base of the bullet. It’s sole purpose is to keep the powder sitting right on top of the primer....

Notice how some people have to politicize everything every chance they get? How is Biden responsible for any dissent in the marriage being discussed? Did he arrange the marriage? Was he the Best Man? Some people offer advice that’s worth exactly...

Almost fifty-five years of reloading and I finally settled on a Redding BR3 powder measure. It is by far the best I’ve owned over the years. Not cheap, but very good.

Don, no one on here can give you any advice to make it better. This is about your grown son, a man. He has to live his own life and make his own decisions. It’s not anything you did or didn’t do. I have a really good friend who has two sons. One...

Taz, I’ve shot a LOT of bullets with several of my 45-70s using a Dacron “plucked” filler. First, most of them didn’t shoot any better with a filler than without. A couple did. Using 5744 (I use a lot of it) it made no difference at all. About...

Sorry to hear all that, but it’s not all her doing. All that should have been discussed and settled long before the nuptials. My wife’s only comment after a couple of years was, “I know you said you liked to hunt and shoot, but I didn’t think you...

I’ve been loading for over fifty years, and I shoot a lot. I’ve NEVER measured it and I flair to the barest minimum amount possible. I actually hold the bullet until the case goes into the die. Probably why I’m still shooting nickel cases I bought...

First off, to answer the original question: I’ve shot countless thousands of 357mag reloads using 231 powder and never had any problems. If you check your reloading manuals, they aren’t even called for. Here’s another news flash: lately, with very...

Cut the breast meat out and toss the rest. It’s greasy if baked in the oven. Just slice the breast meat, pound it with a meat mallet, marinate it, and grill it. Don’t over cook it. It’s red meat and it taste pretty good if you don’t cook it in its...
