I've been meaning to experiment with this, using some Alum GC samples I got years ago (that didn't work on my boolit bases). But card wads sure look like the way to go, judging my your excellent results.

I love all my nosy Neighbors. I live alone and they keep an eye out for strangers and/or, if I hurt myself and need help. Last time I was up on the roof, cleaning my chimney, I noticed a couple of my "Gladys Kravitz" neighbors watching me, LOL.

I wonder how close the spacing of cavities is, with Lyman 4 cav molds compared to MP's 4 cav molds ??? Because Red River Rick makes a "levered" sprue plate for Lyman. OR maybe you could ask Red River Rick if he can make custom "levered" sprue...

This winter, I started thinking about "needs". 2020 was a year of shortages and the trend seems to be continuing...also, if I read the tea leaves correctly, we are about to enter into the 1970s-like inflation. So I started purchasing some things...

I'm sure you know mold temp is contingent on casting pace. While I had my PID set to 670º, I was casting fast enough to allow the mold to over heat without having the small fan blowing toward the dump area. With the fan blowing, I was getting what...

As I have aged, I have less desire to travel. Back in the late 80s and early 90s, I traveled to WY several times. The first time was a 4th O july week long motorcycle trip with friends, we camped in the Big Horns on the way to Yellowstone. I...

I highly recommend you size your boolits. On rare occasion, I will load some unsized boolits (TL'd) for pistol, but I will always size Rifle boolits. >>>With that said, I guess some of the Schuetzen shooters will load unsized boolits, but they...

New? I guess that depends on what you consider to be new? When I started casting 11 years ago, I started looking around for a 41 cal WC about a rare thing. I think it was in 2011 when I learned of Tom at Accurate, I had him cut a 3...
