I just started playing around with the 40-65 an 40-82. Working with Brochardt Rifle company in Silver City. Plan is to rebarrel a Swede rolling block to one or both of these. Likely to start with the 40-82 first.

What a super acquisition. You'll have to post some images from the range after you pick up the additional sighting instrumentation, along with targets, chamber castings and some assembled cartridges.

MOA started a thread WTB - die body's. in Swappin & Sellin
I'm looking for two used die bodies if someone has a box of odds & ends. I got two used die sets, and each is missing one die body. Talked to Redding and RCBS and these are not available. Here's what I'm looking for. 1. Expanding die for RCBS...

Got a hold of some hard to get black powder cartridge reloading dies. They hadn't been used for quite a few years. Home was a box up on a shelf in a garage. Two of the sets were missing a die body so I've emailed Redding and RCBS about...

Mark, unless you find, or come across another steel 6 point pre-crimp ring, stick with reloading 8 point crimped hulls. Don't crimp 6 point hulls with the crimp ring you have now. Your AA hulls and most target loaded factory hulls are 8 point...

I initially went that route back in 1981 after getting my first 600 in 12 gauge. Bought the 10 gauge dies an then the 16 and swapped them out. A real PITA. Save yourself time, frustration, and money. Keep your eyes out for more 600 Jr's in those...

Looks like a MK-5. 600 Jr. in 12 gauge. Talk to the people at MEC. They have parts that should fit. Should be marking on the red base plate. Be sure to download the manual that's free online. It'll help identify missing parts by name and parts...

Scheels have a good selection of funnels. That drop tube works well for the .30-30 to the .50-90 and everything in-between :D

I like to keep the tube out of the case mouth. It defeats the drop tube purpose when you pull it out. It loosens the powder you drop in or spill it. I use a 3/8" OD type L ridged copper tube and I use a 5/8 ID X 3/8" OD sweat reducer and that...

Using a drop tube does make a difference the way the powder compacts. Below is what a compressed powder looks like. It starts from the left. .050" .100" .200" .300" .400" .500" At .200 you are starting to see a solid mass and with the drop...

You can use these. I use a similar product to hold all my sizing top punches. Or you can go to a local fabric store an see if they have some bobbin holder cases. Or order from Amazon.

It's a tuff call on quality miniature reloading tools. Nice to have compacted quality tools but, the ractional of why and how you plan on using them can at times be illusive.

For me the toss up would be to take a shotgun or a carbine and revolver chambered for the same caliber "IF I WAS FORCED TO BUG OUT. And likely I'd be doing the carbine/handgun thing. Not a bad looking reloader thingy for someone who shoots 5 or 6...

Gif. What might be easiest for you is this. Get your mold first, but if your shooting 9mm I'd get a mold a few thousands larger than you need. Pure lead in molds when it cools is likely to shrink too much to end up giving you a lead free barrel. ...

Hanzy4200 Your cam is out of adjustment. The cam is what is causing the problem on your crimp. Google "MEC 600 Instructions". Section 5 covers the swirl issue.. Hope that helps. You might want to download it for future reference.

If that mini is for a .58 and it slides down the bore it will seal on ignition. I would not worry about running them through a sizing die. Where I live I can only use a shotgun, muzzle loader or a hand gun for Deer. I took one buck that field...

I use a two ring in my .58 Hawken shoots well. It's best to keep the load of 1F at 90 grains so you don't blow the skirt out. Also I fill the cavity with lard this keeps the fouling soft for all the shooting you want to do.
