If I was to use BLL or thinned Alox on pellets I would sun cure them for a day to make sure all volatilizes have evaporated before firing them. With a smoke burner its not an issue. And I have to admit, I've never tested it. I think I will be...

If I really want accuracy, and the rifle is capable of it. I will hand weigh charges so they are all within 0.1 grain. IMO the easy way is to use a dipper to get close, then scoop just a little and tap until the scale swings. I like to citric...

Would you have a feel for how long it took you to process 1000 primers? Looking at the information I could find, it looked like maybe 50/hr. I would need to be desperate. $100/k beats 20 hours of my time. I am in good shape on primers, and...

Have to admit my little Italian .32acp is my primary choice these days. Low recoil, low muzzle blast, light weight. While it does weigh and bulk more than either of my bond arms revolvers in .22mag. It has the advantage of 12 shots vs 5 and...

It is too bad no one ever came up with a low recoiling centerfire in .30 caliber that would work in a small autoloader. More killing effectiveness than a .22, more reliable than a RF, and half the recoil of 9mm manly guns.

For cowboy loads using a ChargeMaster is a bit over the top. Make a little scoop and don't worry about being out by .2 gr...it will not matter. Or buy a powder measure...again absolute precision is not needed. I agree with those who said a...

I love my battery saw for small jobs. Just a HF Lynxx One caution. If you, your lady, or kids are not used to saws they are VERY dangerous in part because they are so quite they do not get the respect they need, but also because the have a lot...

Do not try to understand women....life is too short. None of the women I have dated, met, or worked with were mechanically inclined. Their brains work differently. They are not good at mechanical stuff. And most will not listen to direction...

I have not cast as many as most here, but have never seen anything like that. But I do no use "mystery alloy" made from whatever I can scrounge up. I find it interesting that only the OP and 358428 have pictures of it and they both powder...

Do what works for you. In my case, a 3 MOA standard is unacceptable for most shooting. I have different standards for different applications. For PCP rifles, under 2 MOA...1” @ 50 yards For .223 bolt guns, under 1 MOA with jacketed For...

Some of you are saints. A person that destroys equipment has no business operating it. We all know people like that. But, they may screw up on purpose so they get pulled off the job. Ever think of that?

Those primers look too deeply seated to me. I seat primers just barely below the case. Never measured it and just do it by touch. Likely .003” below flush. Looks like someone went overboard prepping the primer hole and/or too much seating...

I know Ballistol is safe in small quantities. It is a recommended cleaner for air gun barrels. BLL is likely not something the air gun community would know about and I have never seen it mentioned. I would be applying it very lightly, not...

Tried a new pellet because they were so cheap ($6.24/500) Crosman .22 Premier Hollow Point 14.3 gr. I could not order more than 3-4 tins at a time and sometimes it would be a few days before Amazon would let me reorder. Ghosthawk came to my...
