Another vote for the 158 gr SWC bullet. As to molds, I suggest going with one of the smaller mold shops as there are so few complaints. Unless you are a low volume user, think about 4 or more cavities. Just a caution, if you have been out of...

Charlie, I have used black fingernail polish on the bead of my shotgun to blacken it. It stays on well but can be removed it desired. It might be too "glossy" for a rifle sight but worth a try.

Sir, those who stockpiled over 100k primers are not the cause of the current shortages or pricing. That demand was satisfied when suppliers offered sales/reduced shipping/reduced HazMat to promote primer sales. EVERYONE could have stocked up...

Good news!!! One of the "Collator Gang" has taken pity on me, and is sending a bullet drop die to evaluate with lubed bullets. I have been using commercial cast bullets with "hard" lube and will see how this works out and report back. My fall...

Interesting to see stuff like this. I would never have considered using a "rifle" powder in a pistol case but these are desperate times. My only use for 4831 is in the .300 Win Mag with jacketed bullets.

might be a bit of an overkill but i love my #32 weston. It would grind bone if you wanted. Where you see the real advantage in a BIG grinder is making sausage like summer sausage or snack sticks that need a second grind. I can darn near through base...

On the auction site, look at completed transactions for to see what folks are paying. Also, in the last few months people have been driving prices up. I would not buy a press as an investment unless I got a good deal on it. If you already have...

Just checked and Starlink is running 180 down and 18 up with 43 ms latency. It varies but is always at least 50 download. I have had it for about three 3 weeks and get the occasional "hiccup", but I am partially obstructed. Far better than...

Yep. But 9mm is now down to about $35/box. Those new gun buyers will get 3 or 4 boxes and think they are well prepared and stop buying. Prices will continue to fall as demand drops and supply increases. And once the shelves are flush with...

Exactly. And for me, casting and reloading are not hobbies. So anything that involves those activities is done to save money or help others. If someone wanted to buy a sizeable quantity bullets from me, I would charge $20/hr for my time plus...

If someone wanted 100-150 bullets to try them out, I would just give them for free. Why would I take any risk for a few dollars? And the FFL is the least of your concerns....ITAR may kick in too. I looked into doing stuff like...
