Reading your description of what the "big boys" do made me realize how ill suited I would be to such an endeavor. Lugging out and setting up a half dozen tripods to mount wind flags would kill it for me. Just too lazy for such stuff...both...

One of the nice attractions of the .38 Spl is that nearly any "fast" powder will work. I once bought 30 lb of powder I had never used (CleanShot) as the price was too good to pass up ($15/lb delivered). I have at least another 60 lbs of...

you made a wise choice. NOTHING is as reliable as a 550. Might not be the fastest out there but dead nuts reliable and will add years to your life do to lack of stress.

where is this huge difference. On a 550 you buy a die plate and a shell plate. On a lnl you buy a shell plate and 3 lock and load bushings. You MIGHT save 15 bucks. Like is said, not my first rodeo. Ive used both and own both. Now if you had a 650...

In my case, I have three rifles and four pistols in .38/.357. I have all the molds I need and plenty of cheap .38 brass. Nothing wrong with .32’s but nothing to warrant adding it. All my guns will take .357 pressure so I use .38 cases and load...

I have had long scratches like that on rifle cases. It was caused by grit or something else on the sizing die. I used Flitz paste on a paper towel attached to a cleaning rod that I turned with a drill. I little bit of polishing cleaned the die...

Ammunition is getting more available and coming down in price. That trend will continue. I expect the "new normal" for components will be about 25% higher than before the panic started. Ammunition should be less of an increase. My rationale...

I was given bags of Berdan brass and hate to sell them for scap value. I also have over 20k 209’s and do not shoot a lot of trap anymore. I have a lathe and drill press. So this is interesting. Might be ok for moderate cast loads?

Maybe Mr Morris can address that....but you can try YouTube to see how much time others take and compare. As you know, changing from SP to LP needs to be factored in as well. I find it so much of a bother I was going to get rid of my LP .45 ACP...
