What kind of muzzleloader do you have, Inline or Traditional. My two Muzzleloader a 50 and 54 Triditionals. I have a bullet starter for both. They fit over the end of the barrel and guide the bullet into the bore, a few thousands over was no problem...

I guess I just have a hard time with change. That being said I do know that change is a contestant thing. When you get old it just makes things harder to deal with. Thanks for the the comments.

I have been a member here since 2009 and have enjoyed every minute I've signed in, even with the changes made. Before learning how to use a Computer I was a member of and subscriber to The Cast Bullet Association. I really enjoyed their Magazine,...

This is not a slam aginst anyone. I have been casting for 50 years and have never worn a respirator and my blood lead level always comes up 0. At the temps we cast at you will never have lead particle in the air. If you are worried about it a simple...

I would suggest putting a sheet of 1/2" plywood or (OSB)to cover the entire plastic table top. A good Terry cloth towel folded to drop your hot boolits on and to let cool. I'm not sure what you are trying to insulate unless you are trying to protect...

45-70 Chevroner replied to a thread crimp cast in Cast Boolits
In a Contender you really don't need to crimp, but a crimp helps to have a more consistent burn rate and velocity. I crimp all my ammo that I shoot in my Contenders. I used to have 11 different calibers and it just got to be a lot of work. I have...

I have heard of guys sending cylinders back to Ruger to have cylinder throats fixed with nothing being done to fix thim. This is not a slam aginst Ruger because I like their guns. I think you will have better results sending it to someone that...

I have a number of 30-30 molds, a 100 gr to 190 gr. I think most Contender 30-30 barrels are 1 in 14 twist. My Super 14 is 1 in 14 and it does not like the 190 gr. at all. My 170's shoot great the 100,110, 130, and 150 all shoot really good also.

I can remember when the first Lee six Cavity came out, I bought two a 158gr 357 and a 240 gr. 44 mag, I got the idea to use them in tandem. I could cast about 600 an hour with very good casts. Never got much better than that. Going on 80 now I can...

Will some one explain to me what Gtek wrote. That went way over my head. My schooling in English was not that great, as I went to 22 different grade schools, and 6 different High schools. I know it sounds bazaar but it's true.

I haven't hunted Squirrel in several years. Here in Arizona Gray and Albertson Squirrels live in tall Ponderosa Pines and Oaktrees. The season is from October to December I think. I haven't been doing too well for about the last five years or so,...
