I got some lead from the local indoor 22 range. I got 2/3 of it melted down into ingots. Here is a picture of the smelting setup and the cooling ingots. There was a lot of sand in the chunks of lead from the bullet trap, about 15% of the weight. I got 420 ingots from the 2 containers of lead. All in all a very good day smelting.

Now I have almost enough soft lead. :smile:
I really like my propane melting pot I made. I just need to put a heat sheild around it to keep the heat in.
