Tumble weed targets!

Went to the range to sight in some loads with WC 860/872/5010 all slow and full cases. We have a 25-50- 100-and 200 yard range, the main berm which is about 275yds from the benches grows tumbleweeds on its face. Well I got tired of the 100 yd target and am to lazy to walk to the 200 yd holders, so I picked out some weeds (small ones) and proceeded to up-root them from the bench. Did great five shots five up-rooted weeds What a Blast.
Now watch out bambi!

When my eyes were younger I used to amaze my younger brothers by shooting the stems of wild sunflowers and watching the flower fall to the ground. This was with my T/C Cherokee 32 caliber with patched round ball. You could shoot from 25 yards to however far you could see. Great practice, rabbits, squirrels or prairie dogs seemed so big after weed stems.LOL!
