Has anyone used a 95 grain boolit in a .32acp cartridge? I ended up with a few heavy boolits and don't know if I can use them. I don't see any load data so I am just going out on a limb here.

Are you dropping heavy from the Lee 93gr RN mold? If so, YES. I'd have to double-check my log, but I wanna say1.6 Red Dot was a really sweet shooter----but you have to seat pretty deep (depending on your chamber and throat, obviously). Very smooth shooting load in my Ruby. Just make sure you start low and watch closely for pressure signs. .32ACP has a limited case capacity already. Heavy bullets seated deep aren't gonna give you much space to work with or much room for adjustment/error.

These are 95 grain boolits that I acquired in a trade with some other stuff as well. Since I had them I just wondered if I could use them. I want stay safe and since I did not see any published data I thought I would ask. I am pretty new to this, so I may shy away from using them till I feel more confident in what I'm doing. Thanks for the help.

Just checked my load data for that one and it's running 1.6gr Red Dot. Bullet weight as loaded is hitting 94-94.2gr. Figured I'd better update ya with what's accurate.

Rangefinder, may want to edit your first post on the powder charge.

I may give it a try. Leadman, he did send me a PM with the correct charge. I think even before posting it to the thread. Thanks for the help.

I used some 95 grain SWC in my .32 ACP, with about the same powder charge. Shot well, although they grouped higher than my factory equivalent load.

For heavy weight boolit loads in the 32-ACP you can reference 32-Short load data. The 32-Short has the same case capacity with the addition of a rim (its an old revolver cartridge) and is loaded to slightly lower pressures then the 32-ACP and has listed loads for heavier weight boolits.
