38-40 Shooters

FWIW, I just learned that Magma Engineering has a GC mold for the 38-40. It's close in appearance to the Lyman 401043 and also lacks a crimp groove. :( Supposed to cast @ .403-.404 & about 186 grs with GC installed using 6-2 alloy; whatever that is. Also says it uses Lyman 41 size GCs.

When Dan finally gets his shop built and Mountain Molds back in buisness we have a 210gr GC design that were gonna try...
It will be cut for the Gator .40 cal checks with a .378" base...
I have high hopes for it's potential in H.V. loadings....
