Ok I have 40 pounds soft lead "pipe lead, flashing, toilet ring" kinda stuff, I also have 6 pounds linotype...
Heres the question I am going to be using this for a 45acp devastator hollow point, 9mm RN 10mm swc, I also have wheel weight ingots made up..

any advice? I assume for the 45 dev mold I want it soft but is pure lead to soft?

Please help me out guys... Thank you all

I find 96/3/1 to be a great alloy for handgun. I also really like it in my M1 Garand. It takes a heat treat well, but is plenty hard for most applications air cooled.

To get this from what you have mix 3 parts lead with 1 part lino.
