When pan lubing (Darr Lube), do you:

Lube then size

or

Size then lube

It will take you about 6 - 8 minutes to read this, but it should answer all your questions.

Thanks Ben that was very helpful.
Do you lubricate the bullets in anyway for the sizing operation?

Lube then size or Size then lube
Both - makes no difference when one uses the Lee bottom push resizer

John Boy,

If you size before lubing, do you lubricate the bullets in anyway for the sizing operation?

If I size before lubing I roll mine in case slick. If I lubed first then I just push thru.

I've just been experimenting with some boolits that come from the mold right at groove diameter, so I pan lube then run them through my Lee sizer thats about .001" over as cast diameter. In the past I have pan lubed first, then sized. When tumble lubing, I lubed before and after sizing. You'd prolly not get any leading from sizing w/o lube but it's much easier to size lubed boolits...

I size and install GC then Pan lube. If not installing GC, it shouldn't matter.

No. The Lee Lube/Sizer is a base push sizer. It will not distort the axis of the bullet in any manner. I have resized naked bullets down as much as 0.004 using multiple dies, one die at a time. Then they are pan lubed and put into inventory

IMHO, the best resizer on the market. One can even get custom size dies from Lee cheaply. Have found using certified plug gauges, the Lee custom dies are always cut 0.001 smaller than what one orders. So if you want a 0.459 die, order a 0.460. Otherwise, the die will gauge at 0.458
