Does any one cast and shoot .32 wad cutters for bullseye matches looking for information on moulds that will work in semi auto .32 S&W Long pistols.
Robert.

Shooternz;
Lee used to offer a 90 gr .32 Wadcutter mould that works very well. However, they have been "out of print" for some time. I still have my six cavity Lee mould and it works well.

You might list your wants on the Forum in the proper column. It's amazing what people have for sale if you indicate that you are interested.

Good luck!

I ran some of the LEE wadcutters through my S&W 32 Wcf revolver yesterday. They shoot very well at 50 yds.

Anybody got one of those lee molds they wanna trade or sell to me? I've been asking for a while in the WTB section.

Can someone tell me what the lee # is on the side of those molds BTW?

You can also heck out RCBS I bought a 32 wad cutter mold from them years ago and I think they still catalog it

What I really need is some one that is shooting .32 wadcutters in a semi-auto
match pistol, I am going to sell the boolits to target shooters most of them down
here use semi-autos in .32 S&W long it's not a large market but the price of swaged .32 wadcutters is getting steep

I'd like a .32 cal 77-85gr SWC that I can use in my Llama Especial III-A, 1903 Colt Hammerless, and SACM M1935A.
6 Cavity Steel or Brass would be nice. Not that I wouldn't take aluminum.

I have one of the Lee molds, but it is a 2 cavity. Wish I had a 6 cavity though. Number on the side of the mold is 90296.

Ballisticast has some DEWC's in 32 caliber listed from the old H&G mold line. They can cut a 4 or 6 cavity apparently, but they are pricey. CBE lists what appears to be a copy of the Lee tumble lube wadcutter in his catalog. I'm guess he could cut a 4 cavity, but no idea what it would cost from Australia. His molds seem to be highly regarded.

Either way, unless you can find a cheap original Lee or could use one of the RCBS molds(I have an RCBS that runs about 85 gr., but it is no longer available and has a button nose), it will probably be a pricey mold.

The small experience I've had with the 32 S&W Long wadcutter automatics (Walther GSP-C) indicated use of flush-seated wadcutters. The RCBS-98-WC may still be available from Huntington Die Specialties, if not catalogued by RCBS per se.

There are a number of small mouldmakers on this site and off-site that might be able to make such a tool. One off-site maker that comes to mind is Mountain Molds--I have 4 of his tools, and they are SUPERB. Look on the Vendors section here for the on-site makers and commentary concerning their products, which all seem to be excellent.

Rattletrap.......I also shoot a M-1935 pistol, as well as 32 ACP. A truncated cone design of your given weight range would suit me right to the ground. I'm currently messing with #311252 and #313249 for these calibers, and both work OK on paper and on small critters, owing to both having a full-caliber front drive band that cuts like a SWC.

Sounds like a group buy might be in order for a .32 Cal wadcutter.

If you are interested I am having a Clymer reamer made soon, specifically for making the M1935A cheaper to shoot. I checked the rim size against the breech face and extractor of my M1935A holds the cases I make quite well.
I cut a .30 Carbine down to .800 long and ream the inside of the shell to .3110. Then load it with a 77gr SWC. I am sending this dummy cartridge to Clymer. The designation will 7.65x20 RAD

EDIT: Actually after talking to 4C I can get away with a .30 Carbine reamer with a removable pilot. I just have to slug my barrel to see what size pilot I need.
