After reading Paco Kellys "Cast for the Hornet" I gave it a try yesterday. Used #3 of chilled shot & enough tin to get good fill out in my #4 lee pot. Hadn't ever water dropped or ladle cast but figured it was time to give it a shot. Got very good looking boolits. good weight, & fill out. Only 3 rejects out of 160, best I've ever done. Does anybody know what the bhn would be ? Cast at about 725 degrees & they did sizzle when they hit the water. I was using a bator mold & lee spoon ( ya I know not a real ladle). For sure going to get the lyman ladle I got awhile back out now. Need to plug one of the dripomatics off & go to a ladle. :popcorn:
