Picked up some pewtarex plates

I know these are not realy pewter but mom had about 20 of these dinner plate size pewtarex laying in the garage from who knows where. What do you think they are worth as a trade in for lead>

aluminum is about .80 a # meaning a scrap yard mite give you .50 ( i believe that's what the plates are made from ) as for trades that's really hard to say , they make great targets !!!

Try running a search and see if you can find the maker for info on make up. I have several pieces of Wilton Armatel that is useless as it contains about 8 metals and I have no idea how to use that for sure. I went to the site and your plates are in the same price range as my Wilton which is also made in Pa. If you have dinner plates they sell for $50 or more for each depending on the pattern.

Yeah cajun I checked the maker of these plates and you are right they are worthless as far as casting goes, however If I can ebay these or sell on craigslist maybe they will be worth it to someone and help me finance my hobby.
