Well I am even more impressed with the performance of this boolit in the 444. Below is a 220 lb sow I took last week with my Marlin 444. The boolit was lubed with Speed Green and loaded over 42gr of H322. The sow was quartering hard towards me when the boolit entered through the front shoulder and shattered it, then exited through the 2nd to last rib on the other side. They are tough animals. She still managed to run about 20 yards on 3 legs before dropping. The first pic is myself, ghh3rd, and another friend, the second is in my garage ready to meet mr. knife.

Cool! Did you use the FP or HP? I am guessing HP from the low powder charge.

Hmmm! Bacon!! Very nice. Looks like lots of good eating there. Congrats!

I used the FP. We did quite a bit of experimenting with the HP this year and even with 50/50 WW/PB at 444 velocities the boolit fragmented. At 44 mag velocities the HP did well. This is the 2nd pig taken with this boolit in FP and for me that is the only way to go.
