12 ga sabot

I saw in my new Ballistic Products catalogue that they have the 12ga sabots that will shoot 50 cal bullets for the 12ga.

Is this the new and improved one?

From what I have read on Shotgun World Forums, they didn't improve much. If you are really interested, check out the slug shooters forum and see what they are saying about them. My holy grail is a cheap sabot I can make 20 gauge slugs from cast bullets that shoot as accurate as Accutips do out of my H&R.

I have tried the new "imporved" sabots, but still stuck on the Lyman sabot-wad-slug in my H&R Ultra slug, 100yds 4 out of 5 touching. I guess you can stumble on something that just plain ol' works once in a while.
