I shot a nice yearling doe yesterday with one of my hollow point cast boolits, specifically the 360640 PB in hollow point form weighing 140 gr. The yearling was quartering away at 50 yds and in brush traveling at a fast walk. When see got to an opening, I shot her about midway up about 2/3 of the ribcage back. The boolit went thru and came out about two inches behind the front shoulder. Entrance wound was 50 cent sized between the ribs and the exit was about nickel sized. Big reaction when hit, then a run of about 25 yards to flop dead on the ground. Not to bad for a light hollowpoint in the 357 Magnum at that distance.

Here is the boolit: http://www.brp.castpics.net/P1.html

No bucks yet (they're here, but somewhat shy from all the bow hunters that are new), but limited to two a year......... and I missed the first day of season due to work. This doe got it from the same boolit we tested in the water jug out of your pea shooter.

way to go Bobber, good to know that boolit kills deer along with the waterjugs and distant rocks/gongs eh?:drinks: I sure did like that consistant load in that sweet little marlin of yours.
