I've had this stainless Virginian Dragoon in my safe for about 30 years. I'm the original owner. It's brand new and it has never been shot since leaving the factory. It is a 7 1/2 inch 44 Mag. It has the original box and all the paper work. I'm a S&W collector/shooter and just never put the gun to use. I advertised for some Pachmayr's last year to fit it and had no luck. The pistol itself has never been advertised.

Anyone have a clue what a fair price would be? I'd be interested in possible trades for S&W handguns too if anyone is interested with a PM. Let me know before I put it on GunBroker.... I putting this post in the selling section too

The latest edition of Blue Book of Gun Values that I have is the 30th Edition, and it lists the Interarms Virginian Dragoon in new condition at $265.00 in the stainless version. It's listed on page 970.

When I had my FFL, I ordered one for a customer and it appeared to be a well made handgun.

Hope this helps.

Thanks guys... I've been reading some past evaluations of the pistol and it is a very well made item. This particular one was made in the USA by Interarms. It just doesn't fit my hand and can't find any of the Pachmayr's that used to be made for it....

It's still available, Leftiye..... Interesting discussion on it in the "For Sale" section. I'm still open to finding some Pachmayr's for it if someone has some. Check out the "For Sale" section and see what you think......:-)
