I just traded 2 dogs over on the Ruger Forum.com for a Lachmiller 2 cavity 162gr. swc .

It has 2 lube grooves & a crimp groove & a generous lower drive band.

How close is it to the Lyman 357446 ???

Why is info on Lachmiller molds so scarce ???:killingpc

Any info will be appreciated !!

I realize RCBS Absorbed or got started in the boolit mold business by obtainin Lachmiller but this boolit is no longer listed & was wondering if anyone had experience with it ??

Erik has HPed 1 & I talked with him `bout it but it was a while back .

I borrowed his pic , mine is like it but less HPing

I'd say it's pretty close. This is a 357446 HP I recently got that is missing the HP pin. Am going to send to Buckshot to have a new pin made.

Nice pic & nice 1holer 357446, mine is`nt quite that nice !!!

I`ve been thinking of HP 1 of my 357446s but can`t decide to go 1or2 holes !

I`ll know by the end of the week how close they are , anticipation !!

Finally pulled out the ladle on this non vented mold & this is what I got !!

The middle drive band was giving me fits with a bottom pour !!!

Those sure look nice, GP! Let us know how they shoot. I've got an ol' buddy with that mold and it's the only 357 slug he loads. He swears by it.

The nose is shorter than the Lyman 357446 (it likes the pedal to the floor)& the body longer & should be a good shooter in a wider range of loads !!
