I recently fell into an "Estate Sale" and bought a load of Nice stuff.

In that 'haul' is a large "Pacific" reloading Press 007 and the powder filling attachment.

Would LEE Dies work with that press ?

Is the press worth much ?

Photo coming when I get back from work.......

Couldn't put a value to the Pacific press other that say it is worth about half of the new price.

All modern reloading press's are set up for the "standard" 7/8x14 threaded dies. so Lee and any other current manufacturer's dies should fit with no problem.

I saw your original post and thought that you got a better than average deal.

As you can see in the stuff you got most reloader don't have just one press.

The press will accept standard dies and is of good construction and design. I have no idea of the market value of such a gizmo. If it were mine and I wanted to sell it, I would ask $60.00 and back down to $50 is I needed to.

Pacific made very good loading tools and dies. Like others, they made several presses and they are worth what you can get for them. If it's in execellant condition that will generally be about half the price of a current simular design model.

The old Pacific line was acquired by, and became the first entry into reloading equipment by, Hornady.

Went to your original post.
Good score.
Kind of sad though.
Son not having any interest in his fathers hobby.
Son has no idea the joy his father got out of all the reloading done over the years.
Reminds me of grand kids throwing out grandpa's old stuff from when he was in WWII.
Sad, very sad.

"Dust in the wind....all we are is dust in the wind..."

Listen to it.....INCREDIBLE SONG !

"I close my eyes
Only for a moment, then the moment's gone.
All my dreams
Pass before my eyes, a curiosity.
Dust in the wind.
All they are is dust in the wind....
Same old song
Just a drop of water in an endless sea...
All we do
Crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see.
Dust in the wind.
All we are is dust in the wind,
Ohh Now, don't hang on
Nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky.
It slips away...
And all your money won't another minute buy....
Dust in the wind !
All we are is dust in the wind.
All we are is dust in the wind.
Dust in the wind.....
Everything is dust in the wind.
Everything is dust in the wind...."

I have to get used to the idea...

...I am becoming maudlin in my old age.

I see my little children are adults now and the days are getting shorter and shorter.

"How terribly strange to be seventy...."
