Lee 4 20 pot...

Just cast my first batch of boolits! Used a new Lee 4 20 pot. Instructions say to coat the surfaces with wd40 or another rust prohibitor if it is going to sit up. I plan on casting another batch next weekend (when the new mold shows up!). Anything you experienced folks would recommend for usage, storage, etc...how to get the most out of it....:cbpour:

Same method I use for my SCUBA regs. "don't store em, just keep em wet"
USE the Pot, don't let gather dust!

seriously, I usually coat the exposed steel of the pot with a paraffin melt before I let it cool down for a while. Seems to work for the few weeks it sits unused.

Just got mine. Works great No more Drip-O-Matic. Melts fast.Midsouth NO 1 !!!!!! Flow is great. Only minor note. Base aluminum is not as thick as older models. Doesnt seem to be a problem $63 at Midsouth about the same at Midway........
