:coffee: ---Had some good results at range today with 8 MM--Shooting A Yugo-M24/47---(8MM)---Removed most of the boolit jump to start with and played with the loads---Powder is 2400---Tried 175gr g/c with filler 16grs.---poor group about 2 inches---175gr. g/c 16grs. shot about a 3/4 inch group---(left the filler out)---then 175gr. g/c 18grs. shot a 3/4 inch group all rounds touching---then tried 16grs. no g/c and filler---shot about a 3 1/2 inch group---tried the same load with Turkish Mauser and group was about an inch. So all in all happy with 175gr. g/c with 16 or 18 Gr's. just about gave the same groups. Also note how the turk liked the filler round where the Yugo did not.---:castmine: ---Have a good one Mag

..............What were your boolits sized to? My M24/47 wants a .325" minimum or more. I was thinking of sizing down the Lee boolit intended for the M95 Steyrs in 8x56R (.329").

Buckshot ...

I have done that with the Lee .329, squeezed down to .327 for a Turk short rifle with a badly erroded throat. It worked well (also with 16 to 18 grains of 2400, no fillers).

I have a turk and a 48A, both shoot well sized to .325" with the recent group buy, weighs 192 grains with a GC and lubed with javelina. My load so far has been 13 grains of red dot. Haven't had the time to experiment futher.
