I stopped by a friends shop to day to pick up some ww and was informed that as of Dec 1 lead ww are banned for use!( in NY) He said that they may even send inspecters around to make sure you don't have any in stock and are sending used back in for "safe recycling" And I was just getting into casting!
Oh well I guess if you can't beat em join em right? I gonna work real hard at collecting all that nasty lead that I can find

Your date is wrong, but you're correct about the ban:

Brought to you by New York Assembly Member Linda Rosenthal.

“It’s useless to resist progress,” says Rosenthal.

Here's the story:

Why did I just know she was Manhattan.

Clearly though, she's probably suffering from lead poisoning herself.

Well, it started out here & I called it going forward. IMO, a nationwide ban is around the corner. Kalif has more cars than 2/3 of the states comboined, the largest ww market in the USA, maybe the world. If they aren't doing lead, the manuf aren't going to continue to make them. So by default, nationwide ban. Get em while you can boys.

Yep, in CA the wheel weight pry themselves off wheels and land on the road where they are ground up by traffic. Then the rains come and wash the lead off the road and it soaks down into the water table then poisons everyone in CA! Evil little buggers!

That might be what is wrong with California now; the southern half at least.

Looks like "Garth" has injested plenty of lead over the years. Does it make arm pit hair grow?
