My buddy has a 7.65 Argentine and he is running low on ammo; where can you buy that? is there a more commercial cartridge that works? Or does he need to reload his own?

Norma loads Argie ammo, and you might try Hornady/Frontier, or Graf's.

..............As Curmudgeon mentioned, Graf and Sons sells the Privi, Golden Bear, and the Hornady if you buddy is looking for factory stuff at a fairly reasonable price.
If your friends Argie is in good shape with a bore/groove of not more then .301"x.312" a way, WAY cheaper row to hoe is the Lee C312-185R over 23.0grs of H4198.

SOG has FMJ in boxer cases for a real decent price. I pulled the bullets and seated some nasty J words on them and they made excellent hunting loads for my dad. Midway has brass at a decent price too.
