Hornady LnL Custom Primer Punch for Swaging

I think it should be possible to machine a custom primer punch to swage primer pockets. Does the whole system seem strong enough to do it? Has anyone tried this?

Bump, this would be interesting. The shell plates do flex a bit when priming though. You would also have toput some steel where the priming ram digs into the lower base of the press.

I'd be leary of swaging off axis from the ram. That would put a lot of uneven pressure on the shellplate and components.

You need to push down on the inside floor of the case at the same time from the inside through the neck or you'll just rip the rim off the case. Look up the way the 1050 and dillon swage tool work.
