Slide Glide Light from the brian enos site is pretty slick stuff... I use it for my auto pistol and it sticks well and lubes for a long time, even when dirty.. I use it for my dillon 650 on the ram, and in my shotguns and auto pistols.. it comes in a tube or a small tub.. and goes a long way.

Depends on the gun....I had some stuff that worked really well in a 1911, but was a disaster in a revolver.

3 in one oil works pretty well when followed by about 300 cycles of a double action. Always improves a "stoned and polished" sear. (You need to pad the frame to prevent hard impact from dry firing, and cycle the action. Can alst be done by impeding hammer fall with your thumb.)

Outers gunslick is a graphite grease marketed for this purpose, but it might be discontinued. Permatex also makes a graphite grease, sold at auto parts stores, on the back of the package it mentions firearms as one if its uses.

Nothing beats a smooth surface. Shooters choice makes a fine greese if you go that way.
What is your gun?

I never use any type of grease on a trigger. It attracts dirt and grime, and it will cause problems at the most in-opportune time.

From factory trigger to competition rifle triggers, a flushing with lighter fluid is all they get. It leaves enough residue to do the job, dry.

If a trigger is that bad, it needs work, grease won't fix bad surfaces.

Gunslick is still marketed by Outers and has been in use for your needed purpose since the mind of man rememberth not. I started using it on the friction points on Smith and Wesson and Colt handguns 50 years ago. I used it because so did Bill Jordan and that was plenty good for me.
