I'm in the process of getting a CVA Accura 2 in 50 cal. And I'd like to know if eny one casts for these new inline muzzle loaders and what if a good charge of Triple 7. I'm probley going to get it from Cables they have the gun with a drop comp scope for just shy of 500 bucks.

I cast the Lee R.E.A.L. for my accura, It loves that bullet and about 90 gr of BH209 powder with a magnum shotgun primer (federal 209A). I cast them out of old lead pipe and they are deadly on deer. I have the accura V1 50cal. My friends likes the 310 grain lee 452 dia bullet sized to 450 and 100 gr of pyrodex powder, these to are cast from lead pipe (~pure lead). find out what your gun likes, each one is like a woman, a little different.

Do you use a sabot?

No sabot with the R.E.A.L., with the cast 45 319 gr I use a harvester sabot.

My son has a CVA Accura (original, not V2). Shoots well with a saboted RCBS 44-240-SWC propelled by 100 gns of T7. See: http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=64537

Would this Lee mold work? Lets say out to 150 to 200 yds. It's a handgun mold.
