Heat treating pure lead

Question for the pros.
Does heat treating pure lead or 20-1 harden the alloy any. I currently heat treat some of my WW bullets to 475deg and water drop and get 20-22 by my Lee tester.
Looking at making some somt nose bullets and if heat trating does not effect the hardness i would not have to change my straight WW mix.

Nope. Won't harden it at all. You need antimony or arsenic for heat treating.

lead is bhn 5 no matter what you do to it. except add stuff.
