What gas checks will fit the 452484?
The GC shank is .428"-.430" diameter.

Was this mold made in two configurations? I have a 452484 w/o a GC. Looks very similar to 452374, but the lube groove is a bit higher on the Boolit shank. Someone may have machined the GC out of it before I got it. Its oversized now as well. I had to polish a lot of rust out of the cavity. .457 now. Sorry I couldnt help with your question Good Cheer.

I had one of these moulds early in my casting hobby. I switched to Hornady gas checks, and they stayed on the shanks a lot better. It didn't take me long to figure out that gas checks on a 45 ACP boolit were very superfluous, and the mould left in a trade and remains unmourned.
