Hi Folks.
Just bought a Pedersoli remington rolling block (38-55).Would like to try tang sights on this rifle.Old eyes cannot see the front sight, but looking thru a tang sight on a mini sharps I can. Will be using trail boss black and smokeless in my loads. The range I use is 50 to 200yd only. Thanks

Pedersoli sells some useable tang sights and for your needs a mid range one should work fine. Of course if you pay more you will get a more refined sight.

Good morning
For just a plinker there are some OK tang sights out there used for descent prices.
I have one on a old Roller 43 Spanish that gets the job done out to 200 yards.

I have Sharps set up with Pdersolis and the are fine for most applications.

However, once you spring for a set of Lee Shaver sights, ANY Lee Shaver sights, you'll wear a broad smile, even with his economy models.
The quality of the sights reflect the quality of the gentleman and his service.
And they are NOT the most expensive on the market.
I have these on one roller and two other Sharps and simply love 'em.

I have Lee Shaver mid range sights on my pedersoli 45/70 rolling block and I second the opinion above.

The tang sight that came on my Pedersoli rolling block creedmore worked but it had to be resighted every time you did a range change as the windage would also move. Have the next step up Pedersoli sight and it is much better.
