I picked up two single cavity moulds. I think thay are Maxi-balls.
One was in a thompsom center box #728 But the mold is marked 965 on both sides on the front of blocks. The other is marked 602. Both have long sprue plates an vents on one side only

Thanks for any info K

Sounds like T/C maxie moulds. Do they have very deep and big lube cavities? The numbers don't really mean anything. It's my understanding they were just t identify a matching pair as one mould. Are they also anidized aluminum? I have a couple. One is .45 and the other is for a .50. They also made a veriaty of other calibers and this question comes up from time to time. Lyman handles fit them.

Thompson sold molds in their own boxes, but made by Lyman or Shiloh. I don't know if there were others. The mold you decribe sounds exactly like a Shiloh mold. Shiloh molds are unmarked as to manufacturer and only have a number on them. They are aluminum usually anodized black. Shiloh no longer makes molds, and has no information on molds they made. They do appear regularly on ebay, often listed as unknown manufacture.
