Saiga12 slug results with Lee 1oz slugs

My buddy and I have the same rifles and have spent quite a bit of time researching and testing different loads. I feel like we've achieved a good load that works well! The Lee 1oz slugs load up really nice! We just used wheel weights, nothing fancy.

We started with load data from the typical sources, and found the online Alliant data and Hodgdon load calculator to yield the best performing loads.

Very impressive. I was shooting factory Winchester slugs out of my 500 and couldn't deliver a pattern like that.

Thanks for posting that, great groups, I had been trying 22 grains of Unique, I'll try working it up a bit more, Those Saigas are a lot of fun...........................................steg
