Anyone else besides me use LLA or Rooster Jacket on jacketed bullets?
I appear to be getting less copper residue in my AR and accuracy may be slightly better. Haven't noticed any more residue on the bolt. Prefer the Rooster jacket for this application.
Seems to be OK.

I've been diddling with diluted LLA on resized cupronickel-jacketed 154-gr .323" Type S ball in a .303. I am trying to prevent nickel fouling and it seems to work. It's definitely cleaner and safer than greasing the bullets. I can't tell about any improvement in accuracy since I haven't had time for any real load development.

Just make sure that none of that lube is blowing back and coating your chamber. Eject one once in a while and check the outside of the case for lube. It'll increase the thrust on the bolt head in the case is getting greasy. They blew up a few rifles due to that in the early days of cupronickle jackets.
